Hosting and domain

Our website is hosted by Railway Corporation (USA) in a European hosting region. Railway processes technical connection data to provide and secure the service. Operations and support also take place in the USA, so data may be processed there. Information on the provider’s processing and retention practices is available in Railway’s privacy policy.

We use GoDaddy to manage the domain and redirect halterra.ch to www.halterra.ch. When this redirect is used, GoDaddy receives the connection data required for the request, particularly your IP address and the requested address. Cookies, fonts and content

The website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The website code does not set cookies or store data in local browser storage. Fonts, images and other design elements are loaded from our own web server. No external maps, social media plugins or video players are embedded.

Contact form

When you submit our contact form, your name, email address and message are transmitted to the form service FormSubmit and forwarded to the central mailbox responsible for enquiries for our company. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and for related correspondence. The website does not maintain a separate contact database.

FormSubmit processes the form contents and technical connection data to provide the delivery service and prevent misuse. According to its documentation, submissions are retained in the service’s archive for 30 days. See the FormSubmit privacy policy and service documentation for further information. Retention and security

Correspondence is retained according to the purpose of the enquiry and any applicable statutory retention or documentation obligations. Technical operational data is subject to the retention policies of the infrastructure providers named above. Connections to our website are encrypted using HTTPS.
